After receiving a Masters in Higher Education from Iowa State University, John worked in college student development for 10 years, including serving as the Vice President of Leadership Education for the North American Interfraternity Conference. John started his blog, Fraternal Thoughts, in 2008 in order to maintain an influential voice in building a stronger fraternity and sorority movement. John's essays have been used in leadership courses and numerous Greek life programs. He is a sought-after speaker and throughout his career has delivered educational presentations in 44 states and 13 nations (so far). John continues his work locally and internationally to empower the next great generation of leadership.
