Leslie Dewart (1922-2009): Canada's Forgotten Theological Philosopher

Allan M. Savage
4.9/5 (22356 ratings)
Description:This short work is an exposé of my thoughts on Leslie Dewart’s philosophical insights as they occurred to me in reading and re-reading his works. I have attempted a re-organization and application of some of Dewart’s ideas to indicate their value within the development of Western philosophy and thus take his thought beyond the context in which he wrote. The main issue I address is his approach to the notion of philosophical dehellenization, which is not a universal philosophical issue, but a particular one of Western philosophy. The development of Dewart’s notion of dehellenization was cumulative process and his ideas, first noted in germ in his earlier works, continued to be developed and disclosed throughout his writing career. We have made it easy for you to find a PDF Ebooks without any digging.
