Lalaji Saheb wrote his letters , articles and diaries in the Urdu language . Urdu , like Hindi , is a form of Hindustani , having its roots in Sanskrit , Persian and Arabic . It is a very poetic and rich language , so it is not such an easy task to find the words in English that do justice to his expression . He often used metaphors , leaving it up to the reader to experience and introspect upon the meaning .
