Description:These are two narrative poems are written in heroic couplets. The narrative of each is, in effect, a colloquy or discussion that takes place among three speakers during a walk in the countryside. In 'The Lobster or the Thatch', Baysworthy (a sensible poet), Bolster (a diehard reactionary) and Fission (a diehard progressive), consider their different attitudes to rural suburban development.
