Description:Excerpt from The Time Limit on Actions: Being a Treatise on the Statute of Limitations and the Equitable Doctrine of Laches: The present work is founded on a chapter on the Real Property Limitation Acts, 1833 and 1874, which formed part of "Possession of Land," published in 1894. I have now filled in the outline there suggested, and have included the other Statutes of Limitation, and I have attempted an analysis of the equitable doctrine of laches. Inasmuch as the subject depends so much on statute law, I have inserted the various enactments in their appropriate places in the text, but the entire statutes are given, for the sake of reference, in the Appendix. This method, however, has had to be varied in the case of the Nullum Tempus Acts, which still cumber the Statute Book in unregenerate form, and in the text I have stated the principal provisions in shorter and more intelligible language. The subject of dispossession is of both theoretical and practical importance, and I have endeavoured to state the effect of the authorities in a series of rules which, I hope, may be found useful. We have made it easy for you to find a PDF Ebooks without any digging.
