He had great capacity for achievement, both in range and degree. Comfort's remains were removed to Syracuse by a grandson, many years after his death, and rest in a tomb in the chief cemetery of the city. Child, by first marriage: 1801+ Deborah Wemple Tyler, born March, 1787. Child, by second marriage: 1802+ Mary Tyler, bor n in 1788. 640 JOB5 TYLER (Job4), born in Ashford, Conn., March 12, 1770; died March, 1836; married Charlotte Utley. He is supposed to have gone to Onondaga County, N. Y., and some of the family think he died in Montezuma, N. Y. It is believed that his children were all born in Onondaga County, N. Y. Children: 1803+ Lora Tyler, born Jan. 4, 1792. 1804+ Oren Tyler, born Aug. 21, 1795. 1805+ Asher Tyler, born May 10, 1798. 1806+ Chauncey Tyler, born Dec. 27, 1800. 641 JOHN6 TYLER (Job4), born in Ashford, Conn., March 12, 1770; died February 19, 1845; married Clarissa Chapman, born May 26, 1777; died April 7, 1841, aged 64. He lived on his father's place one mile from Westford Village (Ashford), Conn. He went to New York state with his brothers, but returned to Ashford, where he is buried. Tradition says that he was one of the projectors of the Erie Canal with DeWitt Clinton, but this honor was shared, at least, with his brother Comfort. The children were born in Ashford, Conn.
